And thanks to Greg Cojulun, President of Friends of Malcolm X Park, and longtime GCCA Board Member, the Little Free Libraries near the playground - shown above - were kept open when they were originally scheduled to be fenced off!
But we need you to donate books - both for children and grownups!!
If it's more convenient, you can drop off books on the porch at 4603 Cedar Avenue, home of GCCA Board Member Frank Allegra, who maintains the Little Free Libraries at Malcolm X Park and the one in front of his house.
(GCCA has occasionally purchased books for the Little Free Libraries from Hakim Bookstore & Gift Shop at 210 South 52nd Street)
