More COVID-19 Vaccine Options....

As of now, Philadelphia residents in group 1a or1b (all essential workers, all people 65 and older, and people under 65 with a variety of medical problems, including being overweight) are eligible for the vaccine.

Do you know someone who does not have computer access who wants to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine? Have that person call the city non-emergency hotline, 311, option 5, to talk to a live person who will take down information. (You might get a busy signal.)

There are two walk-up clinics scheduled for April 13 and April 22 at the University of the Sciences

Also, vybe Urgent Care and Independence Blue Cross Vaccination Clinic Opens: Approved vaccine provider vybe Urgent Care opened their first clinic. providing vaccine to Phase 1a and 1b eligible Philadelphians. The clinic is being held at Independence LIVE (1919 Market Street). Appointments for the general public are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Independence and vybe will also be reaching out to eligible members/patients in Philadelphia to schedule them for appointments at Independence LIVE. Philadelphia residents who are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine can make an appointment at Independence LIVE by visiting or by calling 215-999-3715.

Mass clinic in West Philly at The Salvation Army (5501 Market St.), will be held every Friday in April through April 30, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
