Speaker: Professor Ken Jacobs
“Garden Court West:
Life Above 47th Street 1922-2025”
The evolution of neighborhood spaces including schools, stores, the tennis courts, community garden, parks, the swim club, and key apartment buildings 1922-2025.
Ken Jacobs is an architect and historian. He is on the faculty at Temple University and Thomas Jefferson University and has just completed a preservation plan for the John Coltrane House in Strawberry Mansion. Ken is a resident of Garden Court and we are fortunate that he has recently added our neighborhood to his areas of research.
