Register Today for the 2017 Progressive Dinner

The Garden Court Community Association Annual Progressive Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, September 30th, 2017. We have an exciting line-up of host homes and cuisines, starting with registration and appetizers at 4603 Cedar Avenue. The only complaint about our Appetizers is that diners eat too much of them! Then proceed to the entrée of your choice.

This year we have an extra wide selection: Asian, Irish, Italian, Ethiopian, Belgian, Classic Mexican, Fish and Mediterranean Vegitarian. Garden Plaza Apartments, 47th and Pine Street have offered their Foyer and Community Room for our dessert course. They have a new piano which we are hoping will be used by our more musical guests. In addition to the space, Garden Plaza Management have made a very generous donation to the Garden Court Community Association and our scholarship fund.

Tickets are $40 for members and $45 for non-members if postmarked before SEPTEMBER 20TH! After that date, the price rises to $50/person. It’s important to get your tickets early to secure your favorite cuisine and allow the hosts to purchase sufficient ingredients for the meals.

Remember that proceeds from the dinner go to support the Cheryl Roebuck Scholarship Fund, the Community Garden Project and non-profit organizations like summer camp scholarships for Curio Theatre, UCD, UCGreen and the University City Arts League. Remember early registration insures your choice of cuisine and no registrations will be accepted after Friday, September 29th.
