We’re not getting any younger!
You know that, but you might be surprised at how many of us Philadelphians are actually old. Of the 1.5 million people currently living here, 263,000 or 17 percent are 60 or over. That makes us the second most senior-rich city in the country, out-aged only by Miami. By 2030, one of every five Philadelphians will be in this age group.
